Finally some progress is being made. A useful tool called myLittleAdmin is my only way of managing the SQL database. Development is taking much longer than normal but progress is being made and I can see that eventually the site will be back online with all of the old features and some new ones. One of the nicer sides of using a shared host are all the applications they provide. I'll be checking those out after the main site is up and running. I need to concentrate on account management now.
